The anti-wrinkle action of viper venom results from the presence of Waglerin 1 - a peptide made up of three amino acids. Peptide blocks the influx of sodium ions into the cell, preventing it from contracting the muscle.

Immediate action. The effect of using: smoothening wrinkles and "crow feet", wrinkles on the forehead and around the mouth (in-vivo studies - after 28 days the improvement was found in 80% of the subjects).
Suggested concentration in cosmetic formulations 1- 4%.
